On June 30, Professor Peng yuan jie, Chairman of Wuchang University of Technology(WUT), Xu Hong-yi, dean of school of business went to Fuzhou to meet delegation of Texas Technology University (TTU) to discuss cooperation the two universities and successfully signed a framework agreement of cooperation, laying a good foundation for cooperation in the near future.

During the meeting, Professor Lawrence Schovanec, President of TTU, Professor Joseph a. Heppert, vice President of TTU, and Ms. Grace Hernandez, assistant President of TTU , listened carefully to Chairman Peng 's introduction of WUT. They showed great interest in WUT 's beautiful campus landscape, strong school-running strength and significant achievements over the years. Professor Lawrence Schovanec said students exchange, teachers’ visit, education research cooperation are welcomed, and TTU was interested in business, engineering and architecture. The two universities signed a framework cooperation agreement after the conference.
