On December, Professor Muhammad Abdul Qadir, dean of the school of chemistry at the University of Punjab, Pakistan, visited Wuchang University of Technology(WUT). Professor Peng Yuanjie, Chairman of WUT, professor Cui Hairong, Vice President of WUT received visitors in the conference room on the sixth floor of the library. The conference were chaired by Liu Xiaolu, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department. Professor Liu Yang, vice dean of the school of life sciences, Nan Xiaolie, vice dean of the school of life sciences and teachers' representatives from the school of life sciences attended the conference.


Professor Peng extended a warm welcome to professor Qadir on behalf of WUT. He briefed the guests on the basic situation of WUT and  achievements made in international cooperation and exchanges in recent years. He commended the cooperation between WUT and the Punjab University, and looked forward to the fruitful results between the two sides. Professor Qadir briefly introduced the basic situation of Punjab University. He said he was very glad to be in contact with WUT, expected the two sides to play respective advantages to enhance the level of analytical chemistry and applied chemistry cooperation between the two universities.


Professor Cui Hairong, Vice President of WUT,introduced the achievements of the schoolof life science in the field of international standards in chemical analysis. He also put forward specific suggestions to professor Qadir for the two universities to jointly carry out scientific research cooperation in the fields of chemistry and life sciences.He also proposed the exchange of teachers and students between the two universities. Professor Qadir expressed great interest in the cooperation between the two universities in chemistry and life sciences.
