WUT was Awarded “TOP 1 in Graduates’ Employment Competitiveness of Year 2017”

On December 5th, the 9th NETEASE Golden Wings award ceremony was held in Beijing. WUT was awarded the TOP 1 in Graduates’ employment competitiveness, and was one out of three colleges that awarded this honor.

WUT has made great achievements in high-caliber personnel training, and it towers above other private universities in education. The employment rate of its graduates has reached more than 92% over the past years. In 2013, it was ranked No. 4 among all provincial universities in Hubei Province and jumped to No. 1 in both 2014 and 2015. The seniors’ passing the examinations for civil servants and graduate education has risen markedly year after year. Nearly 30% of the graduates have worked in the top 500 companies around the world or in large domestic enterprises and a large number of them have become “high-payed” with annual salary over 200,000. WUT has been approved as the provincial demonstration base for undergraduates’ entrepreneurship. It is common for WUT alumni to start their own business, and among them more than 300 successful alumni run the companies with the assets of over ￥10,000,000, some even having companies of one hundred million dollars. Among them, Lu Weijian holds the post of president of Heart Creation Investment Co., LTD. and board chairman of Asia Building Material Co., LTD. with the asset of ten billion.
