The Delegation of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Paid a Visit to WUT

April 10th, the delegation of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University(VT) paid a visit to WUT to develop a cooperative program concerning education between both parties in future.

 In the morning, accompanied by WUT President Zhao Zuobin and leaders of other sectors, Richard John Blythe , Dean of College of Architecture and Urban Studies with Joel Peters, Director of School of Public and International Affairs enjoyed the visit to WUT School of Urban Construction. Liu Lisheng, Dean of School of Urban Construction, warmly introduced the science labs of relative departments to the visitors. The guests spoke highly of the scientific environment and the facilities   the students were making experiments with while talking about the subjects with them.

 In the meeting. Both parties expressed much interest in transnational cooperation between the universities concerning education development, joint cooperation in scientific research of the teachers from both sides etc. And the representative of VT delegation indicated there would be great prospects of the joint cooperation in future.
